Motor impairment does not have to be an obstacle

Extension of the playground at the children's hospice Sterntalerhof by a wheelchair carousel

With this project, the close friendship of the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation and the children's hospice Sterntalerhof is once again sealed: One year after the completion of the pedagogically established playground, a wheelchair carousel was added to the area. The experience of the first few weeks and months had shown that children with motor disabilities, especially the children with a wheelchair, have been disadvantaged. The Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation is pleased to have been able to help again at this point.

"Even seriously ill children must be able to play. I am pleased that we have now managed to give motorically restricted children the chance to play by the construction of the wheelchair carousel."
