We supported the construction of a health care facility.

In a former mission station near Mayumba in the hinterland of Gabon in central Africa, the Regine Sixt Children's Aids together with Msgr Professor Schmitz (Institut Christusk├Ânig) are supporting the construction of a small health care facility.

The children are given first aid in medical emergencies and regular medical care as well. Malaria and various other diseases spread by insects remain a serious threat in Gabon. Cases of leprosy and tuberculosis have also been recorded.

The Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation has funded this project and is making an important contribution to improving the medical care of the children in Mayumba and the surrounding area.
