The Regine Sixt Children's Aid supported the Atemreich house with full room furnishings and a vehicle for transporting children in need of care.

What is completely commonplace for healthy children is for these children an extraordinary experience: such as running around or crawling, feeling the grass under their feet, or making an excursion to the lakeside. Having to take breathing devices along redefines the spontaneity usually associated with childhood.

The support was initiated because it provides children with comprehensive care. A child-friendly home has been created in line with medical, nursing, and pedagogical perspectives.
