The Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation and Turkish Airlines help earthquake victims in Turkey 1,700 sleeping bags for children in need through the call for donations from Sixt employees in Germany and Turkey

Once again, the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation Drying Little Tears helped and supported numerous children affected by the earthquake in Turkey quickly and efficiently in a disaster situation. The Sixt employees in Germany and the Sixt partner country Turkey immediately organised a fundraiser in light of the catastrophe.

1,700 sleeping bags were sent to the children in the crisis area. The Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation received support with the project from Turkish Airlines. The airline is a longtime partner of Sixt and transported the relief shipment for free to the Turkish city of Erzurum. Sixt Turkey gave the sleeping bags to the Red Crescent aid organisation there, who then took them to children in need in the crisis area. Sixt employee Ezra Konya, co-initiator of the donation project:

"The earthquake in October brought misery and destruction to parts of Turkey. Such disasters affect children in particular, who are dependent on our help. I am very pleased that we can contribute to helping the children with the help of colleagues in Germany and Turkey, and with the generous support of Turkish Airlines."
