Drying Little Tears in Poland: The Regine Sixt Children’s Aid Foundation equips a care centre for school children.

Provided for school children, aged between 7 and 16, from poor families, who live in the neighbourhood of the Maltese Care in Poznan, Poland.

The care centre will be operating in the afternoon to assist in homework and studies, to organize free time, including cultural and sports activities for the children and to offer psychological and pedagogical help. Qualified teaching staff that mostly consists of volunteers provide warm meals and take care of the children’s health, including free medical consultations. Above all, this centre is used to help children with personal development. The care centre will work closely with surrounding parishes and schools. The Regine Sixt Children’s Aid Foundation provides now all the interior for this care centre like kitchen and bathroom equipment, wardrobes and tables, sports instruments and laptops.
