The Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation supports the Kennedy Donovan Center by financing the Foster Care Suite.
The Kennedy Donovan Center (KDC) is one of the largest social institutions in Massachusetts with various locations. For almost 40 years it has been offering education, healthcare, and day schools for children with developmental disorders/disabilities (Down syndrome) and family problems. Every year it takes care of 4,300 children aged between 0-3 years.
Now the KDC wants to expand its service to New Bedford, Southeast Massachusetts, and has already bought a 1300m² large historic building, which must now be restored accordingly. The Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation is taking on financing the Foster Care Suite at the Kennedy Donovan Center as part of the renovations.
