Palliative Team Southern Hesse receives vehicle to expand the care of children in their parent's homes.

An important element of the care of seriously ill children: the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation gave a MINI to the Frankfurt palliative team at the beginning of 2013.

The vehicle is a contribution to the establishment of extensive care for seriously ill and dying children in their parent's homes and within familiar environments in the region of Southern Hesse. The employees of the palliative team are therefore in a better position to visit the children at home.

Within the framework of voluntary commitment to the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation, Sixt employees regularly visit the children's clinics in the region. Thus, the palliative team Southern Hesse became aware of the Foundation and contacted it with a request for support.
