The Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation supplies emergency food to eastern Africa along with Aktion Deutschland Hilft and action medeor.

In light of the suffering of the people in eastern Africa, the Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation Drying Little Tears Foundation together with Sixt employees sent a shipment of emergency food and medicine to the drought region in northern Tanzania. 600 kg of emergency food was shipped from the medeor warehouse in Tönisvorst to Tanzania. In rhw medeor warehosue in Tanzania the shipment was supplemented with medication such as infusions and antibiotics and rushed to the disaster area.


Millions of people are still starving in the Horn of Africa. The supplied emergency food gave 800 children proteins, vitamins, and minerals for a month. And ready to eat, therapeutic food which children and adults can eat exclusively was also included in the shipment.


Help faster together - the motto of the Aktion Deutschland Hilft Alliance, which action medeor is a member of, convinced Regine Sixt, who is committed to the Board of Trustees of the Alliance. Employees of Sixt AG made the aid shipment possible with their collection.
