Realizing a dream: With the help of Drying Little Tears the beginning of the renovation of Compassionate Orphanage Home in Lagos has started in summer.

The SIXT Nigeria Team and Germany representative Sebastian Szautner arrive at the Compassionate Orphanage. The children are all dressed up for the “Drying Little Tears” charity event, and wearing big smiles because they are so grateful that the Regine Sixt Children‘s Aid Foundation has put a roof over their heads, and that they no longer need to fear the weather, especially the rain.

They pray that God will continue to bless Regine Sixt Children‘ s Aid Foundation and Sixt Nigeria for making their dream come true. The Daily Sun newspaper in Lagos quoted English author Peter Reagan, “The greatest gain in life is what one loses while promoting the cause of humanity, especially the less privileged.” In line with Reagan‘s postulation, the Regine Sixt Children’s Aid Foundation has extended its acts of charity to include the Compassionate Orphanage, Greenland Estate, Idowu Egheda, Lagos. With the help of “Drying Little Tears” a new roof on the female hostel at the home was equipped because it had been in shambles for many years. The Regine Sixt Children’s Aid Foundation also donated some mouth-watering items to the orphans who could not hide their joy. They expressed appreciation for the donors’ kind gesture.
