Together with German Doctors, we supported clinical mobile units.

In the course of its existence, the non-profit organization German Doctors (former doctors for the Third World) has carried out over 6,000 missions on a free basis in the so-called developing countries. Some 2,800 physicians have traveled to these countries to treat patients, vaccinate children, and run hospitals.

The German Doctors e.V. committee currently has nine projects in India, Bangladesh, Kenya, Nicaragua and the Philippines. These projects are supported locally by two to eight doctors.  The Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation supported these projects with "Rolling Clinics". Vehicles were provided and converted into mobile medical offices. Therefore doctors are able to reach their patients even in the most remote locations.
